A thousand latter-day Friedrich Jürgensons are dialing into the 24 hours electromagnetic miasmic newsfeed, catching up on outlying schools of DX.  Outmoded but not eclipsed by DTV, these activities contribute to the conditions of today’s parmediate information ecology.   To be caught between stations, catching glimpses of utterances, a relish for so many moving morphologies.  A glint, a gleam, a slow-coded regime. The bullet time of a twinkling. Parameditation is/not a negotiation between parafact and parafiction?

If it ain’t Baroque, don’t fix it.  Anamorphosis reloaded and relocated as a wily Proun. Out there oscillating at the “the station where one changes from painting to architecture,”~ proto design fiction by way of El Lissitsky~, theory objects angling out of bounds.  A flying checkpoint, a space between conscious thought and its interruption–a shadow out of time, partitioned and poorly distributed. “There are going to be anachronisms in your neighborhood,”(Sherman) arriving unannounced, eluding detection in the labyrinth, or vestibular apparatus.

One C.G. Jung observed a half century ago that “Anything that looks technological goes down without difficulty with modern man,” in his study of things seen in the sky.  Contemporary Design Fiction navigates near-future nebulae in efforts to ultimately bring ideas down to Earth, roping in the plausible by way of speculative acceleration.

Cinematic excursions, like mad doctors, continually revive the “brain in vat” scenario, albeit the “vat” is now blasé, a generic condition in the frankentime-space of what Metaphortean Research has elsewhere deemed the “outboard brain.”

The information superhighway has gone back to nature. Meanwhile, once condemned memory palaces return as ghosts from the past, hi-tech gothic ruins along an expressway thru yr skull.
